GREGORIO MORALES
BIOGRAPHY
Gregorio
Morales, born in Granada (Spain) in 1952, is a graduate
in Romance Philology. During the eighties he led the Tertulia
de Creadores, at the Circulo de Bellas
Artes in Madrid, exponent of

he contributed articles to the magazine, La Luna de Madrid, and to Ínsula
and El
País. In 1994 he was co-founder and president of the
group Salón de Independientes, made up of sixty writers upholding the
right to freedom, both personal and aesthetic, with respect
to any political, economic or religious group. His creative
ideas are contained in El cadáver de Balzac (see Balzacs Corpse), where he presents a new artistic paradigm in accordance
with the discoveries of science and contemporary psychology
and proposes a new humanism in which the liberty of man and
democracy are as essential as creativity (see Quantum Aesthetics). He's member of Granada's
Academy of Buenas Letras and ran a weekly column in Granada's
newspaper IDEAL.

Eroticism
is an outstanding aspect of Gregorio Morales' production,
way in which he has published the short-stories book Erótica sagrada (Sidharth Mehta
Ediciones, Madrid, 1989) and
the essays El juego del
viento y la luna. Antología de la literatura erótica (Espasa,
Madrid, 1998),
Don Quixote. El erotismo
en el Quijote (La General, Granada, 2005) and Por
amor al deseo. Historia del erotismo (Espasa, Madrid,
2006). He is also a regular and erotic contributor to Spanish
edition of QUO
magazine.
He has written the
first chapter of The World of
Quantum Culture (Greenwood,
2002), a collective work from quantum aesthetics experts over the
world. The volumes of essays Principio
de incertidumbre (Diputación
de Valencia, Valencia, 2003) and La isla del loco (Alhulia,
Granada, 2005) continue El cadáver
de Balzac. In the poems book Quantum
Song (Dauro, Granada, 2003),
Gregorio Morales celebrates elemental particles which build up what
we see and touch, the life we live and, most important, what we
think.
